How would you handle the setup of my 2d character in Mecanim?
Hello!
I'm having little troubles setting my character up properly in Mecanim, i'm not sure i totally understand all of its concepts and would like to know how you would do it.
What i want to achieve is this:
Character has an idle animation on the base layer (that uses torso, arms, and legs)
Character has retractable horns he can pull in and out
The transition between those 2 states is made by animations on the base layer (that uses most body parts and the horns)
Once horns are in or out, i want them to stay in that state on all the other animations until a new transition animation is played
It's actually a pretty simple setup but i'm not sure how to handle it properly, the logic is close to a character that could pull in and out a weapon that he will keep in hands in the other animations.
How would you do this?
