Weird Unity Editor bugs.
So basically Whenever I've added animations in unity weird things happen. But it was always fixed by restarting unity. Now it isn't. My game is a 2D platformer that starts on a hub world and you go through teleporters to go to different worlds. When you are on the hub world several parts of the player, such as his gun are disabled and when you go to a world they are supposed to become enabled, however they are not becoming enabled. But if in the editor before I hit play I disable and re enable any of the players scripts all his stuff will spawn in the world but several of the scripts such as the ui script displaying health and ammo will be very buggy... This started happening after adding animations for using the teleporters and restarting unity did not help. How can I fix this? Ps: I also tried restarting the computer and running a build of the game and running it off a flashdrive. none of which worked. I am almost possitive this is a bug, I see no other way that disabling and re enabling any script would fix some of the problems.
how do we know that its the editor and not a a fatal error in your code?
Exactly. There ll definitely be issue with your code. How can you claim that an application that is being used and been maintained and still been in updation for new features is that much buggy. And No one else is reporting. I suppose only you are doing some really $$anonymous$$dburst program$$anonymous$$g that the credentials at unity are unaware. Help us finding your issue. Just Posting question is not enough .
