Sounds of popping and slurping in Lerpz tutorial after Respawn section implemented

Guys I might have a unique situation here, but my Lerpz project began looping a popping sound in play mode shortly after implementing the Respawn section of the PDF tutorial. I upgraded the drivers for my Z-5 Logitech Omnidirectional speakers, and that didn't help. On the other hand, the actual Respawn sound effect sounds just fine! What could be going on?

Are you sure the sound file is fine? Are you playing it in the Editor? Because the distortion caused by Unity's inability to compress 24-bit samples is why other people had the same problem:

Thanks! The respawn sound was fine, but not the ambient hum$$anonymous$$g respawn sound. But the file at your posted link fixed it.

Wish I knew how to append files for download to these forums, so others can also find the needed file here. Just to make it easier.
