Is a Free Version
I tried to download the free version of Unity, but it appears to be a trail version of Unity Pro.
If there a truely free version out there that I am missing?
I didn't want to burn my 30 day trial of pro until I learned the UI abit.

You can use the Pro trial for 30 days, then it reverts automatically to free.
Yep, the Unity version is always the same. The only difference is what licence you acquire. You have to choose the licence at start. Either the 30-days-trial or the free-version. If you have already activated the trial licence I think you can't revert that. I guess reinstalling won't help. $$anonymous$$aybe reinstalling the OS will reset the 30 days, but i'm not sure.

Reinstall unity and when it asks you if you want the 30 day Pro version trial decline and you'll just have the free version.

I do not see an option to decline, just Register or Cancel
