no shuriken collision on low quality setting
i have a box collider moving into a particle system composed of at least 100 particles that are firing out as shown in the image. The box has a size of (.5,.5,2). The particles shoot mostly straight with only a bit of Z axis deviation towards the end of their lifetime so i know they definitely intersect.
For some reason when i set the setting on low, no collision occurs. On medium and high I get a collision.
What's weird however is that if i start on medium or high collision in the editor and then IN PLAY MODE change collision quality to LOW, IT WORKS!?!? Even starting play mode on LOW then changing to MEDIUM then LOW again works! Why is this happening? how can i get LOW quality to work off the bat. Also what should i set voxel size? default is .5 but even on .1 I get a collision.
I want a VERY VERY BASIC not performance intensive collision, since it's a flame effect it looks very chaotic anyway so I'm ok with low accuracy that i'll fine tune to be acceptable.
I have the same issue. World collision works perfectly at all quality levels in edit mode, but in play mode it doesn't work until I swap the quality level back and forth. $$anonymous$$aybe at low quality the collision precision is dependent on framerate, but my FPS is pretty good in play mode, and it doesn't explain why swapping the quality level back and forth causes it to start working.
