Game not expanding to fill full screen on S8 Android - but top bottom gaps
Hello friends,
For some reason lately (i guess after upgrading Unity?) start not to show full screen on Samsung Galaxy S8 using Portrait mode (2220x1080). No sure how it happens. In my player settings --> Resolution and Presentation --> Aspect Ratio mode is set to native aspect ratio
.
My Canvas Settings:
Does any one knows how to remove these Gaps, as in the past they did not show.

I can think of two reasons:
1. the canvas scaler is not properly configured
2. It's showing gaps for the nacigatuon and action bar used in the phone (but that's actually unlikely, because unity does not know that)
Thanks, regarding 1, how would you configure it to work? i tried Constant Pixel Size, but still the gaps.

try to configure the Canvas Scaler Match to 0.5
I tried, it will make all things bigger, but black gap remains.

As it is device specific, I couldn't handle it from unity, however, on the device if you go to settings, display, full screen apps; and enable your app, it should appear properly.
