Question by jordomanoa · Sep 14, 2016 at 05:04 PM · unity 5physicshingejointrope

How do you make an wire/rope type object and attach to 2 separate objects

alt text

I am trying to make a wire or rope type object that can attach to 2 different objects, i have uploaded a picture for better understanding, i would just like any kind of advice on the subject as its something i haven't really touched on before. There is animation involved also, the pole on the picture is moved up and forwards but i was thinking if the wire/rope object is attached to both of these it should work fine.

any help would be extremely appreciated

kind regards

Thanks I appreciate it, i have used this tutorial with some success but i was not sure how to make both ends of the rope to be static as the top piece doesn't move from its place but the bottom piece moves around freely i need it to be fixed.
