how to create buttons using iphone look and feel??
hi, i want to make my game which will be deployed to iphone to contain buttons similar to the ones seen on the generic iphone apps. How do i approach this?
The quickest way I see it is to just make / find a suitable GUISKIN for the task. http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/Components/class-GUISkin.html It is an easy way to customize the look of unity's gui system.
You would assume that it would be possible to find something like this on the unity wiki, but unfortunately there is not. But Bryan is right, unless you want to spend a few hundred, the cheapest way to make it will be to do it yourself.
you could purchase iGUI in the asset store, but Bryan is right. you would have to make you own gui skin if you don't purchase iGUI. How to do this: you would take several screen shots on your ios device(the top and home button at the same time), e-mail them to yourself, and crop and edit out the text from them in photoshop or something.
