How to prevent animation sliding when using layer
Hi there, I put movement animations(walk/run etc.) in layer0 and attacking actions in layer1. When the avatar do attacking, its pose sliding all along. :( I'm not sure if I have to full curved each bone of the avatar or is there someting I was missing? I'be very grateful for your suggestion.
How does your character locomotion work? What's actually moving the character around?
I did some test and made it more clear. when use layer, the lower layer still controll the bone if the higher layer haven't a curve on it. The kick action do has curve on leg but it left the pelvis empty.

Look into AddMixingTransform function. It allows you to play attack animation on upper-body and walk animation on lower-body.
thanks Paulius, buy the attack action must use leg as it's a kick action.
in that case people most often make two animations: one which is played when moving and another when standing.
