Why does my Tree on Terrain not look like the Original Prefab it was made of?
Hello guys,
I'm seriously confused right now... I hope someone can help me out. So I created two Tree Crowns and several trunks in Maya. Exported them as FBX files. Put them into Unity and there I created a bunch of Prefabs. Each one looking like a unique Tree just made out of those few FBX-files. Now when I'd liek to use them in unity Terrain. The show up. But only the Trunk. The Crowns do not appear. My guess is that Terrain doesn't accept Tree Prefabs combine out of several FBX files. But this sounds so ridiculous in my head. I mean I'm working on a mobile game. Trying to keep the filesize as small as possible is crucial. And being forced to create those Trees as a whole in Maya to export each of them as FBX to Unity just piles up the filesize x-times. So pleeeease tell me I'm just to dumb to do it right... -_- Can someone please help me out and tell me a way to get my Tree Prefabs made out of several FBX-files to work? Thanks in advance!
