I want to put an animated gif/avi sequence for a title screen.
I want to put my company "intro" into my title screen. I have it in .avi and animated gif. Don't say I need unity pro. I'm 11 years old, My parents won't allow me buy unity pro.
You NEED Unity pro to play the avi. In order to play the gif, you could save each frame as an individual image in a jpg or psd or png, or tiff, or something that unity reads, and then create a script that plays the images in a sequence. It would not be all that hard. See this post.
