anyone with a helicopter tutorial that they know of?

It's a big vague your problem with helicopter script. You have the helicopter model (fbx file for example)? Then drag it to the scene, and attach a script for movement; in that script, in Update() function, you have to write what happening with the model when you press W,A,S,D and so keys. Can you post your script here?

All i want is something to explain me how would a helicoptr script, i got the model and i am quite familiar to unity and its JavaScript and C#. Just not with imitating helicopter mecanics

You could have a variable for the rotor speed and use that to change some upwards force, but I'm not sure it's that simple, it probably wouldn't look right..

Using a rigidbody I think you could use rotor speed for upward force as well as the dot product of the helicopters forward and world up to deter$$anonymous$$e the forward force, if it is completely horizontal (0) there should be no directional force, only upwards. As the value goes negative you're pointing closer to the ground and increase forward force. This will just be forward and back so you might want to use the helicopters right vector for side movement as well.

You could then use AddTorque or AddForceAtPosition at the rear rotor pointing left and right for the rotation. I've never tried to make a helicopter but that's how I think I'd first attempt it if I were to.

i have tried, and its a good idea, it works ok. yet i think its hard to set up all the variables to work propperly. thanks for the answer
