Perspective in 3D game deforms our characters face

We are doing 3D puzzle game.

We are playing from the third person.

Here is our model alt text

It is done in 3D max and the Brush and it is ortoganal.

When we put it in to the Unity something going wrong and we get :

What should we do to get same result? We already spent 2 weeks of our engineers to solve this problem, please help us !

What have you tried? The narrowing the field of view of the camera will decrease distortion.

You need to decrease the FOV of your camera. A wide FOV like the one you have will create a "fisheye" like perspective on objects close to the camera.

We can not really change FOV it's 60 degrees right now, and we need it to show bigger part of the room.

Then you are stuck. This is fundamental 3D math, even real world cameras behave the same way.

But usaslly in 3d games FOV is 60 degrees and bigger. We found some articles that says we can fix it via “matrix inverse Perspective of object” buy have no idea how to do that.
