Question by Dee91 · Dec 24, 2013 at 10:37 PM · animationjavascriptfpscontroller

How do i apply animations in javascript?

Hello

I'm new to unity and i'm trying to make a simple platformer. I made use of the FPS controller and changed it so that it is useable for 2D. Now, i have made a running and idle animation. And i'm wondering how i can imply these in my FPScontroller code? I have found alot of C# tuts on it. Which i don't mind using, bit since the FPS controller is written in js.. :)

So, can anyone guide me in the right direction on how to apply the animations in the fps controller?

Thanks :)

C# and unityscript are basically different interfaces to the same set of libraries and execution engine, so if you have a C# tutorial and you know unityscript, all you need to do is to write the same code using US's syntax. $$anonymous$$ind you, there's a reason why people use C# more often, so I'd recommend you to learn C# ins$$anonymous$$d. You can even use automated converters to convert US to C#.
