How to use Transparent Material ?
After failing to find anything in line with my material problem I've decided it was time to try the Answers section. I'm creating a 3D Menu where a simple mesh (plane for example) has a semi-transparent texture on it. I cannot figure out what I may be doing wrong but here is a screenshot of how it should look and how it currently looks. Thanks in advance, you guys are great :)

need more information, are u using image texture or u r facing problem about transparent materiel, for using transparent material first make a materiel then change shader to transparent then diffuse or cutout-soft edge limit.
I am using a image texture with import settings as a GUI texture

Alright, thats pretty straight forward. But how would I get the image to display on it correctly? As you see, in unity the texture is being displayed differently than on blender.
sorry m not using blender m using only max, maya and sketchup, anyway first import your texture ok, you can see your texture would display in assets menu just simple drag and drop to any object where you want in scene.
