Inspector preview overflow
I really can't tell if it's a bug or "a feature".
But sometimes, the object selected gets drawn into the inspector, covering all the controls I need to tweek.
Here I just created a plane and i just put a material to show that's actually the plane itself that gets drawn (with the default material it just shows as plain white).
My current Unity version is 4.3.0f4
Edit: Putting a smaller texture it shows where it's the overflow. It's in the icon/preview of the object:
That is certainly not a feature. Do you have any editor scripts in your project? Does it happen to all GameObjects? Does it happen in a new project? Tried restarting?
Right, reseting Unity fixes the problem. But it keeps happening, at least once or twice a day (8 hour/day job).
That's a bug. Pretty annoying looking at that. But at least a reset fixes it. I'm having a problem on my work machine right now that will randomly freeze my machine for up to 10 $$anonymous$$utes at a time. Reinstalled the OS from scratch and still happens. So, at least you're only losing a few $$anonymous$$utes here and there; I've lost hours since 4.3.x. :(
