Generated sprite asset cannot be tinkered like an image in editor
I have made a sprite asset using code (resized a sprite) and saved it to the Assets folder via AssetDataBase.CreateAsset
. The problem is though that while I can tinker with an imported sprite's settings, I don't get anything with this new sprite. It is actually saved as an .asset file.
How to make it so that I can change its settings, especially the texture compression?
The first is the original sprite, the second is what I made and you clearly see the lack of settings, though when dropped to the scene, both behave as your typical sprite.
