Bullet hole instantiating partially inside hit object
When I instantiate a bullet hole onto a hit object from certain angles the object the bullet hole is attached to shows through or even completely covers the bullet hole texture. (This seems to happen most predominately on cubes, why?)
I've tried having the bullet hole sit slightly above the target with:
hit.point + (hit.normal * 0.04f)
But the above still happens. Increasing the off set number just makes the bullet hole sit too far off the target object. How can I solve this?
