Network - Keep connected when moving scene?
Hello,
Is it possible to keep the connected players connected when moving from scene to scene? Right now, I'm working on a lobby, which is in a separate scene, when all the players are connected, I then want to move to the actual game scene and initiate the player's characters.
Also, I'm not using the generic Unity Network. Any ideas how I can achieve this?
Thanks.
humm, I dont think that's quite what I had in $$anonymous$$d - I'm guessing some kind of 'LoadLevelAdditiveAsync' is needed, and then my network controller (which holds all my connected players) is then some how sent to the new scene. PS - I also have Unity Pro
Oh - LoadLevelAdditive sounds perfect 'LoadLevelAdditive does not destroy objects in the current level. Objects from the new level are added to the current scene.'. I might give this a try and report back.
