CRAFTING SCRIPT FOR A SURVIVAL GAME I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!
i need help with a crafting system. so far i have
a GUI script (GUIBuild.js) that i put on my first person controller and it has a list of all the materials that can be collected and when collected are added to the list.
a script (Collect wood.js)that i put on the game object and it allows me to walk over and collect the material.
a Txt document that has a list of the materials and of the things i need to create the materials.
a txt document that has a list of all the recipes that can be crafted with the ingredients and item that is given after it has been crafted.
now what im asking is how can i create a GUI window that will pop up when i click "C" on my key board and it would contain a grid that's 3x3 and then i can click "I" and my Inventory pops up so that i'm able to click and drag the items over to the 3x3 grid and have a final product come out.
basically im looking for something that would be similar to the Mine craft "Crafting Table"
I found a tutorial to help me make the other scripts however Ive been going crazy trying to find a tutorial for the crafting part please i need as much help as possible!!
