How can I create a single frame animation?
I'm making a classic beat'em up game. When the player receives a hit, an animation should play. The thing is that this animation has only one frame (one sprite). Is there any way to create an animation with a single frame?
Thanks!

One frame animations are possible. Drag the sprite into the Animation Dope Sheet like you normally would for a new clip. The single frame will "animate" from a state/blend in the animator. I have used this for damage and for airborne single-frame animations.
Hey, thank you sixEight. I actually tried that before, but it wasn't working, don't know why. But now it works. The black magic of computers...

Hey i might know the solution. Just set the "speed" parameter in the Animator to 0.
