Pink texture with Resources.Load
I am creating a procedurally generated space game and everything works perfectly in the editor it all looks incredible, my problem is the suns in the game that arent procedurally generated are pink in anything other than the editor.
Anyone have any idea why this is according to the inspector I am using around 10Mb of video ram of 384Mb?
Pink usually means Unity has failed to load a shader. Once the object in question has loaded, drill down into it in script and see what's plumbed in.
Well the only shaders I'm using are Unity's own Diffuse and Unlit/Transparent shaders the thing is the diffuse shader is working fine its just the unlit shader (used for suns) that Isnt working as expected when compiled out of the editor.
If the materials you want to load with Resources.Load are actually somewhere in a Resources folder, they should be found. Can you post some code?
I will try to recreate the problem as my existing game code is over 40 mb
