Unhandled exceptions while deploying on Visual Studio
Hello everyone:
On MonoDevelop, I get this kind of messages: http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/3395/0f99.png
I can play the game on the editor, no problems there. I'm also able to create a Visual Studio project (Windows Store app, type D3D11 C#, SDK 8.0). No compile errors, the build is created and deployed, but then some error messages pop up, like this one:
WinRT information: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'UnityEngine.NetworkPlayer' from assembly 'UnityEngine, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
As a side note: I use Playmaker and NGUI for this project, and it did give trouble. But as I said, after a few fixes, there weren't any compile errors. I tried deleting any references to [System.Serializable] attribute (read about that in the forums, and it was pointed out as a possible solution), but NGUI elements started to disappear.
Any help?
Hmm. Could be a problem with the assembly not being loaded in the GAC. Can you run a command line under ad$$anonymous$$ and try this:
gacutil /l UnityEngine
What version of Unity are you using? What version of $$anonymous$$onoDevelop?
Seems like it isn't there:
The Global Assembly Cache contains the following assemblies: Number of items = 0
$$anonymous$$ake sure you're referencing the right DLL. Try re-adding the references to UnityEngine.dll etc.
The original DLL is in /Unity/Editor/Data/$$anonymous$$anaged/UnityEngine.dll
