Bloom Per-Object idea?

It's not easy to do per-object bloom in Unity without changing alpha, etc. Then again you have a translucent object when you change the alpha (if standard shader is opaque, it doesn't affect bloom btw).

Can you modify the bloom script so that it creates a RenderTexture for a specific camera/layer instead of the whole screen?
