Best climbing system!
Hi! I want to create a fantasy-parkour game. (Something like Assassin's Creed or Overgrowth)
I'm working on the climbing system right now. I tried several solutions, for example:
Raycasting
Detecting te collosion between hand and the climbable object
Smart object things
But I'm not sure what would be the best.
What do you think? How did you do it in your game, or how would you do it? I prefer mecanim, but I don't really know how to change the axis of the movement.
There are some systems on the Asset Store which will help you with this.
Can you give me an example? I didn't find anything about this... maybe I just didn't search well... :D

Try the ninja character system, and try to tune up the values, is the best system i have found so far. :) I can work with you and make a really cool game if you want.
