Console gives an error "Invalid metadata file found."
Hello Unity forums. I'm having an issue that I can't seem to find a workaround for.
I recently opened a project of mine that I have not touched for awhile, and in the console I get a notification.
"Invalid metadata file found 'library/cache/Icon'. It is recommended that you delete this file." "Invalid metadata file found 'library/metadata/Icon'. It is recommended that you delete this file."
I looked that the respective folders in the project file but I can't find such a file and thus am lost. I have a feeling I'm looking at the wrong folders and this might be referencing something else on my computer. This notification doesn't hinder my use and I can continue working but it is an annoyance and I'd like to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I just had the same exact problem. I had a project working just fine then all of a sudden it locks up for no reason. I load the safe project that was working yesterday and I got your error too. On the same day.

Maybe you get the error because it got deleted or something, I suggest that you make a icon with the name "Icon" and place it in "/library/metadata/" and try that out. It might just be that tiny little miss. Hope this helps :)
