Cannot make android build of project
im trying to make a build of my app for android, and i keep getting this weird error
'MovieTexture' is not supported when building for Android. Asset: 'Assets/StreamingAssets/maiMovie.mp4' UnityEditor.HostView:OnGUI()
now, i know MovieTextures are not supported on android, and im not using them. This error is not coming from a script, its basically unity telling me that it cant add the video file to the build. I know i read that .mp4 files are compatible with unity and android. Why is it telling me that MovieTextures are not supported? (I Have this video in my StreamingAssets folder btw). is there some special way of importing videos in your project for mobile devices?
Is it in one of these compression standards?
H.263 H.264 AVC $$anonymous$$PEG–4 SP
i have no idea, i did fix this issue though, it turned out i had to import directly to the strea$$anonymous$$g assets folder, i was importing into the regular assets folder then moving it in. Apparently importing there converts it differently for mobile devices
