Problems with Blender files and animation
Hi, i have a problem with blender files and animations. I have made a simple 3d model with blender and has an animation. I can share the object if you like. When i export the file as an fbx and change the height to z and forward to y everything is ok. When i use the blend files there are the following problems. If i import the animation in unity the object turns 90 around the x axis and the animation does nothing. The object contains the animation but the object stands still and do no move. Has anyone encounter these problems?
Why don't you use .fbx? i'm new to blender x unity, but i've managed to find out that it is best to use .fbx for exporting blender files to unity. Just don't forget to change scale factor under import settings > model, and also i think it would be best to just scale the model in blender till you get it right (if the size doesn't suit you after u import it with the scale factor 1).

off course i can use fbx, that is what i do now. I just wan to know if it is possible not to export to fbx
I wouldn't know is it possible to use .blend files to have it running properly, but it seems that it is highly reccomanded to use .fbx files, especially when it comes to animations.
