How to implement UVs with a triangular procedural mesh (1 vertex has multiple faces)
Hi there,
I am generating a procedural mesh that consists of triangles like this:
Now my problem is that I want to add UVs to all triangles, but one vertex always belongs to multiple faces:
As you can see one vertex can be part of as much as 6 triangles, however unity only allows for one UV to be added to the vertex. But whatif I want two different triangles that share a vertex have two different textures?
How could achieve that without having duplicate vertices? It seems to much to have 6 vertices for every position
Thanks in advance!
