Display Flare from a large object (sun)
Hello,
I have a question regarding light in unity and especially lens flare. I create a scene with a star and planets. My sun has a light inside it and this light cast a lens flare.

The problem is that when the sun center is hidden, the whole light effect disappear and this makes a very weird effect :

Is there a way to make the light come from the whole object and not only a point ? I read some lines regarding material emission but I don't know if this can cast flares.
Second point my whole content is procedurally generated so I can forget baking light I think.
Does someone have an idea to deal with this ?

Simple answer: No. But you can configure flares so it doesn't fade so quickly
Hello, thanks for your answer. I understand your idea but when the sun goes behind the planet, the bahaviour will be the same and the sun flare will still appear.
