How do I test my game in the web player?
Hi,
Sorry this is a really basic question but I just can't figure it out. I have a scene that I have hit "Build and Run" on. I didn't have the Unity Web Player installed so nothing happened. Now I have installed it I'm not sure what I have to do to see my scene in the web player. I'm using firefox if that helps.
(My actual problem is that Screen.lockCursor is causing the mouse to jump out of the "game" panel and into my project folder when I click in game which I don't want to happen so I wanted to test it out of the Unity application so I thought I would use the web player to see if the problem fixes itself.)
Thanks for any information!
Christina
Did you restarted your Web Browser? Can you try with another Web Browser? Please try this common troubleshooting tasks first. Since your problem since to be more of a Web Player installation/Compatibility issue. :)

The answer is simple, you dont have to hit, build and run, just build settings(the option upwards), then you specify the option web player. After that you can upload it to any website, and anybody that has installed the web player of unity can play it. :)
