FPS Techniques for Aim and Gun movement?

Hi People from the Community, I'm Trying to create a FPS game with Unity but I have some doubts.

Some basic effects of the FPS are the Aiming of the gun and the gun movement while walking and running.

I do not know what is the best way to implement them in my game, I have seen tutorials, where do the gun movement and aiming with animations, and in other tutorials make the implementation with code. My question is. What is the best way to implement these actions?

My FPS is an Old School FPS like Doom or Quake

There is no "best way" of doing things. But you should use the right thing for the job.
You don't create a reloading animation through code, as little as you do look rotation through animations.

There is no answer to the question. It's too broad, too un-detailed and way too unspecific.
Please refrain from asking questions like this in the future and follow the guidelines of this website
