Data encryption to transfer data over web
Hi, Is there need to encryption and decryption for security to transfer data over internet ? If yes then what is the best method for transfer data over web i.e from device to server and server to device. I am making MMO RPG game. Thank you

if you don't care if random strangers on the internet read everything you're transferring, then no, there's no need for security. if you do care, then use https.
