Performance of Line Renderer Functions
Hello All!
I have a script that is heavily reliant on Line Renderer. I am using LineRenderer.SetPosition hundreds of times per frame, and am using LineRenderer.SetVertexCount twice per frame. Are these functions efficient enough to be used several times per frame? Do they generate garbage? I am wondering because I am making this script for others to use (so it needs to be efficient). I also have Unity Free so I can't use the profiler to check for myself.
