How to make a dirt effect
Hi, I want to make a dirt effect like in battlefield 3 when you look at a light or the sun, what happens when you do that is that the light lights up a area of a transparent image. I have no idea how to do this, so how do I achieve this?
Here's an example:
By dirt, you mean a dirty part of the windshield, which is only visible when the light hits it? The lower-leftish part?
That looks like a standard spec-map, with the specular angle cranked (but I've never done that, in Unity.)
It doesn't look like it's anything more than a lens flare.
