Any newb guides/answers to 3D modeling?
OK so I now wanna work on a few 3D games. The two I for sure have down has one being sort of like The Stanley Parable and the other being a TF2 like shooter game. I'm mainly looking at this second (for the first game, at least) at making the rooms, halls, etc.
Now, I've never worked with 3D modeling before. I downloaded Blender as it's free and seems like it's the best free 3D modeling software out there but my question is: How hard is it to go from completely new to being able to make these sort of games? I know there are also assets out there but I don't want to pay for things (not alot of money on me!) and also would kinda like to learn this stuff to.
Tl;dr, how hard is it to learn 3D modeling and are there any good 3D tutorials out there for newbs like me?

Blender is a good start. Loads of tutorials out there. Google is your friend. Youtube and CGCookie are good places to start. 6 months of Blender tutorials and you'll be getting the feel of it enough to attempt some good things. Another six months then to make it look polished. Skill dependent.
With Blender, go Vanilla. Unity can't handle things like shapekeys and Bezier curves from Blender.
