Help!!! Unity acting weird as hell! Its basically unusable!

Question

Well I opened unity one day to find it acting like this, the window would lag and act weird and stutter as i moved it or moved around in it.

I though maybe it was cause i didn't update to the latest version but i did it today and the problem persists!

What do i do?

I remember having this problem. Try changing the render mode in the edit menu. The one with OpenGL/DirectX/etc. Outside that, try updating your graphics card drivers. See here - http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/272744/unity3d-editor-gui-issues.html

Yea, Nvidia created a profile, I tried playing with the settings and didn't work, so I deleted the profile and it started working.

I thinking deleting the profile allowed unity to use its own settings.

I have the same problem, neither creating/deleting the nvidia profile nor the force opengl trick worked for me. any suggestions?
