Physics Lagspike?
Hi, so I have been working on a destruction engine but sometimes they randomly explode? I'm trying to prevent this. Sometimes these structures explode during destruction and I get a spike of 40k drawcalls.

Sorry, but we can't really help you if you don't show us any code or processes that you used to make this. :P
It utilizes a prefab version of a mesh that is shattered and what would happen is if one of these rigid bodies falls it would get damaged and if it gets damaged too much it will swap out the intact version with the crumbling prefab. Sometimes the debris explodes outwards though and it would break other destructive objects and they would sometimes explode. I'm trying to prevent them from exploding.
Okay, I see what you want. But we still need to see the code you've and/or explain the components you've attached to these game objects. Because that is mostly likely where the problem lies.
