How do I make cables follow a varying height sea floor?
I am working on an environment that is mainly for show rather than as part of a game which contains wind turbines on a real-depth sea floor so it varies effectively randomly. Currently the turbines are connected to each other via very simple straight cylinders from point to point. However it looks bad in many places where the "cables" simply go through bumps and things.
I was wondering if there was a way of making more realistic looking cables that follow the ground along and adapt to it naturally without having to manually adjust each pipe for every bump (there is a hell of a lot of cable).
Thanks in advance, Hassasi
p.s. I am not great at coding and have only really just started out in unity so generally don't know how to do a lot of things. Sorry if i'm a bit slow on the understanding.
