Does anyone know how to code a controller into Unity?
Right now I'm working on creating a custom set of controllers for a game I'm working on. They're being created with Arduino Leonardos. I was thinking of having a java application running in the background to get the input and write it to a json file, but that seems unnecessarily complicated and error prone. So, does anyone know how I can program custom controller support into Unity?
Can't you just read input directly from the serial port? I used Uniduino - https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/6804 - for a project years ago and it worked just fine.
