Plot waveform graph /visualizer in unity3d

Hi developers, I need some help regarding to plotting waveform from scratch. I found something like audio visualizer which take samples from the audio file but instead of taking samples from the wav file, I wanted to take the samples from my own dataset. Is this possible? I'm exploring the getspectrum data and since it is a method for Audio Listener, I was thinking to create a user-defined method called getSpectrumData() as well. This method will obtain the samples from my dataset.
