Bullet Holes, Decals
I am trying to make it so when I shoot the wall a decal (bullet hole) appear where I shot. I am aware I could use this
var hitRotation = Quaternion.FromToRotation(Vector3.up, hit.normal);
Instantiate(bulletHole, hit.point, hitRotation);
But what about smooth objects. And how would I make it so if I shot a player(already coded) that the decal would appear on the ground.
