Vector Math Question

Does anyone have any tips/advice when coming to learning vector math?

I believe that I'm in need of some good sources to learn some basic vector math as I believe I'm a little lost with a simple task in having a ball hit a paddle and rotate and bounce off. Rather I'm only able to get the ball to bounce directly forward and I keep using only the Vector3.forward and such. I need to be able to change directions.

Any website or tips in learning vector math?

Please help. Thanks.

This four part series from Wolfire is a great introduction to linear algebra and vector math, with examples from video games you've likely played or seen.
