Why can't I comment on other replies?
Is this a bug? I cannot comment on any replies other than my own. The add comment button is simply not present on other posts. Am I missing something- or what? I will delete this post as soon as I can get an answer ( I know this question probably doesn't belong here)
Thank you!
Commenting works for me. $$anonymous$$y guess is that it has to do with rep. See my answer below.

You cannot comment on other people's posts until you reach at least 15 reputation from what I remember. And I wouldn't delete your question. It might be useful to somebody. You should mark an answer correct though so people know the solution.
The problem of not being able to add comments or edit one's original post may be a browser compatibility issue with this QATO Q&A system. I've found that, even without a 15 reputation, my laptop running IE doesn't display the "Add New Comment" or "Edit" buttons, yet another computer of $$anonymous$$e running IE does. I've looked through QATO help and I can't find the answer. I'll keep looking.
I think it's a bug with QATO -- I emailed them, indicating that, despite being logged in, the Comment button isn't visible on certain machines. It's a consistent issue.
Hmm, before this update everything was fine here but now I can't edit or comment my posts made before the update, dunno if its same if I make a new post but I can comment on other posts not made by me...
If you delete your browser cache the buttons turn up again (at least they did for me!)

I had a similar problem yesterday where I couldn't even comment on my own question in Chrome, but I could in IE. So it could be a browser issue. However, today I do see the "add new comment" button on this post in Chrome, so I dunno.

I had to enable 3rd party cookies to be able to reply (urgh :))
