how do i put a animation clip into an animation game object?
hi i want to put an animation clip from a model that i have imported, that is rigged with animations, into a an animation game objet to use it with the new Animator mecanim, but don't know how to put a legacy animation clip into an animation game object to use it into the animator editor.
thank you in advance for any help or advice on this.
This may have changed, but last year when I ran into the same problem, the answer was, you can't. Legacy anims that you created don't work in mechanim. I ended up having to find a simple humanoid model and animate it in blender, so I could export it to Unity and then mecanim could use those animations. But the stuff I had already made I had to abandon.
