Lag when hitting an object

Hello everyone, Everytime I hit a specific object (per example, an head), unity3d lags. Anything that can prevent it from lagging?

Have you got physics code in Update ins$$anonymous$$d of FixedUpdate?

Any code in OnCollision functions? And have you, per chance, decided to set all your colliders to Continuous Dynamic?

OnCollision with the object it's off (doesn't exist in any script withing the 2 objects) and I don't have Continuous Dynamics on. But the problem it's just that it lags when hitting a portion (child) of the object. isn't all the object.

Are the parent and child colliding with each other?

Possibly lots of floating point calculations or/and loops. It really depends on how optimized your code is, and take a look if your PC hardware is suitable for development, like most laptops will have problems working with such stuff.

But it is just like, in a .3ds object. It doesn't have any script. // EDIT: Accepted as the correct answer. The reply was because of the mesh complexity
