Accelerometer access in Windows Desktop.
I know you can access the accelerometer for Windows Store apps, but I can't find how to access it in Windows Desktop mode. I've tried a number of things:
C++ .dll plugin. But that gets a "Missing DLL" error and I have absolutely no clue what DLL is missing. I used that DLL discovery program and it gave be no hints on what could be missing.
C# .dll plugin. Impossible since Unity uses .NET 3.5 and you need 4.5(?) to access the accelerometer in managed code.
I tried using a stub .dll then swapping the .dll after the application was built, but that fails for both the C++ and C#.
I know it's possible because Unity uses this exact trick to work with a higher .NET for Windows Store. How can I access .NET 4.5 after my application is built or better yet, is there a native accelerometer SDK I could use as a .DLL?
