Textures messing up when re-entering app on Android
Hi
On Android, if I run by selecting the "Open" option in the play store once it has downloaded, then I get messed up textures if I switch apps and return to my game.
I am Using Unity 4.2.2. We are very close to release so can't upgrade to Unity 4.3.
Here are more details about how to reproduce it.
My game is on the play store in a beta testing state, so my user can access it and download it from the store.
Once the game has downloaded I select the "Open" option in the store.
My game then runs fine. Everything works and all textures are good. However, if I switch apps and then return to my game the following happens:
1) I get a black screen for a few seconds before the game starts.
2) A number of my textures are now either black or otherwise messed up.
3) I see the following error many times: findContribAttrib (30e1): EGL error: 0x3004
4) I then see the OpenGL context being recreated: Creating OpenGL ES 2.0 context (RGB32 888 24/8)
If, once the app has downloaded from the store, I exit the store and find the app in the app list and run it from there then everything is fine. I can switch apps and return to my game without any problems.
If anyone can throw any light on this issue that would be great.
Regards
James
