[META] Why the votes are almost never used?
I'm new to Unity Answers, and I'm surprise that the votes for question are almost always 0. I've seen really bad questions not related to Unity at all with no downvotes.
Are we not supposed to vote to filter the stuff? Or I misunderstand something?

I think people take it too personally when people downvote. We're supposed to downvote questions we feel deserve it, but often there is a backlash. A recent example which happened to me is here.
I do think every downvote should be explained, and I think I did a sufficient job in my first comment.
People just need to start using them more often to desensitize people to them: a downvote is not a personal attack against anyone, but a signal that there is something wrong with the question/answer!
