Is there a way to import Maya animation and edit it via script/editor?
Hello, I'm making a 3D boxing game with a friend. I'd do the animations in Maya, however, I'm facing the problem that I'd need access to opponents head position, and I'm guessing i can do that via script if i create the animation in Unity. But i'd really like to work in Maya, as it's way better and easier for complex animations. Is there a way that i could export the .atom (animation) from Maya, import it into Unity and then edit it somehow that my punches always aim to the head (opponent may be a different height, opponent may duck or slip, thus head position changes)? Thank you very much.
